The emissions generated are fully offset by investments in certified climate protection projects such as reforestation and renewable energies.
DHL's projects and calculations are also verified annually by an independent, external auditor.

All our products are certified with the Oeko Tex Standard 100 (Class I). This certification guarantees that all materials used have been tested for harmful substances and assessed as safe for direct skin contact.
This is particularly important in the sleeping environment, as the skin is in direct contact with the materials overnight and could therefore react particularly sensitively to chemicals.

No waste of raw materials
Our approach to avoiding the waste of raw materials is directly integrated into our production process. By manufacturing exclusively to order, we ensure that only the quantity of materials that is actually needed is used.
This principle of demand-driven production enables us to avoid unnecessary warehousing and the associated excess stock. In this way, we use raw materials responsibly and help to reduce waste.
Dealing with returns
Our sustainability efforts are also reflected in the way we handle returns. We first subject returned products to a careful inspection to determine their exact condition.
Products in their original packaging can be resold after a basic inspection. Just like demand-oriented production, this approach helps to avoid unnecessary waste.
Products that are not returned in their original packaging undergo a thorough quality and hygiene check and are recycled or reused in parts if necessary. In this way, we ensure that materials are used efficiently.
Through this returns management, we try to work as sustainably and resource-efficiently as possible. It is also important to us that no qualitative or hygienic restrictions affect the safety of our products.

Recyclable packaging
Our commitment to protecting the environment is clearly reflected in our choice of packaging materials. We only use 100% recyclable brown cardboard for our toppers and mattresses. This approach ensures that our packaging can be recycled without residue after use, significantly reducing our environmental impact.
The decision to use unprinted cardboard minimizes the use of printing inks, which often contain harmful chemicals. By avoiding such substances, we also help to protect the environment.
Sustainable materials
We prefer to use sustainable materials such as TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers and organic cotton for our covers. These fabrics are not only known for their environmental friendliness, but also offer exceptional comfort and durability.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are obtained from wood from responsibly managed forests and processed using resource-efficient production methods.
Organic cotton is grown without the use of harmful pesticides or chemical fertilizers, which leads to a significant reduction in environmental pollution.
In addition to these materials, our down products are certified with the Down Pass. This certification guarantees that the down used is ethically sourced and free from harmful substances, which ensures animal welfare and product quality.
